Eatontown Senior

  • The situation concerning the Eatontown Senior Center was reliability and comfortability with there existing unit. The unit that they were relying on to keep the residents cool was 40+years old and riddled with problems.
  • The customers’ biggest concern was being able to turn this project over during the cooler months before the heat of summer was upon them. They had strict guidelines mandated by the State concerning maximum temperature allowed within the building where senior citizens were living.
  • To alleviate this concern, we were able to keep the existing unit running through the summer while coordinating the lead time of the new equipment’s arrival with the onset of spring.
  • The scope of the work required us to remove the existing air handler through the side of the building and rig the new air handler back in through the side of the building. Simultaneously we were installing the new condenser outside and installing the refrigerant piping to connect the two together.
  • During the entire process we had direct communication with the customer with jobsite meetings 2 times per week, we also handled the building inspection process and final start-up with the design engineers.
